Hello RHL Teachers & Staff,

November is here, and with the holidays quickly approaching, we have a few updates, reminders, and opportunities to share!

• 🎃 First, THANK YOU for an amazing Harvest Crawl! Your costumes, classroom decorations, and enthusiasm were absolutely incredible! While the carnival didn't raise quite as much as we had hoped, seeing our students and families enjoying themselves made the evening a success. Thank you for helping create such wonderful memories for our RHL community!

• 👕 Spirit Wear has been EXTENDED through November 2nd at midnight! There's still time to grab your favorite RHL gear, including our new Tie-Dye Sweatshirt and pink items! Due to the extension, previously placed orders will also be delayed, with delivery now expected November 28th–December 4th. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience!

• 🍔 NEW! Burgerville Fundraising Nights! We're excited to announce that we've partnered with Burgerville for a monthly fundraising night! Starting Wednesday, November 4th, families can support River HomeLink by grabbing dinner at Burgerville on the first Wednesday of every month from 4–8 PM, continuing through the end of 2027. Spread the word to your families!

• 🍫 See's Candies Holiday Fundraiser is NOW OPEN! Looking for an easy way to check off some holiday shopping? Our See's Candies fundraiser runs through December 4th, with chocolates, truffles, peanut brittle, and more! Orders ship directly to the purchaser, and proceeds will help us continue granting teacher wishes and fulfilling classroom needs.

• 🎄 Our 3rd Annual Holiday Bazaar & Junior Market is almost here! Join us Saturday, November 14th, from 9 AM–4 PM! Vendor registration is nearly full and will be closing soon. If your classroom or student group plans to participate in fundraising, please make sure your registration is submitted. As a reminder, classroom fundraising must support a specific class or group need, and students cannot be required to create items during class time or as homework.

  We could also use a few extra hands helping with food and concessions! If you know of any parents looking for volunteer opportunities, please encourage them to sign up. These hours can count toward their monthly volunteer requirements.

• 🥧 Willamette Valley Pie Fundraiser was a success! Thank you to everyone who helped support this fundraiser! Pie orders will be available for pickup on Tuesday, November 10th, from 12–3 PM, outside the school's main entrance. Please help remind families who placed orders about the pickup window!

• 🌷 Dutch Mill Bulbs raised OVER $1,000 for Outdoor School! Thank you to everyone who helped make this fundraiser a success for our 5th and 6th graders! Flower bulb orders are scheduled to arrive November 1st–3rd and will be delivered directly to students in their classrooms.

• 🎄 Holiday Door Decorating is coming up! Teachers and classroom volunteers can team up to decorate classroom doors on Monday, November 23rd, and Tuesday, November 24th. Doors will remain decorated for approximately three weeks, bringing a little extra holiday cheer to our hallways! The winning team will receive a $25 coffee gift card for the teacher AND a $25 coffee gift card for their parent partner. If you haven't signed up yet, please complete the form so we know who's participating and what your plans are.

• 🎭 Finally, RHL Theatre presents Anything Goes! Our talented theatre students will be performing at Prairie High School on December 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th. Evening performances begin at 7 PM, with an additional 3 PM matinee on December 12th. Tickets are available online, at the RHL front office, or at the door. We hope you'll come support our student performers!

As always, thank you for everything you do for our students and families! We know how much time, energy, and heart you pour into your classrooms, and we appreciate your continued support of the PTO.

We're looking forward to a wonderful November and kicking off the holiday season with our RHL community!

Coming Up:

• The 3rd Annual Holiday Bazaar, 11/14, 9am-4pm (Same weekend as the other local ones. We expect a very big turn out this year!)

• Holiday Door Decorating, 11/30 & 12/1 - Both Teacher and Parent can win this year, however, you can't vote for your own door. Don't Forget to fill out your Team form. We can't wait to see what our RHL families come up with this year!

• December PTO Meeting: 12/7, 4pm-5pm in Room 1 (due to the Book Fair & Wintergram sales in the Commons.)

• Winter Book Fair, 12/4 - 12/11 - A bookish breeze is blowing back into town, rhymes on the shelves where smiles abound... 💚💚💚
